Aged in French oak for 10 months, this beet-red wine begins with intense aromas of soft wood and earth. Flavors of dark cherries and wild fruits linger on the tongue with a long, tannic finish bursting with wild raspberries.

Reminiscent of cherry pipe tobacco, blackberry, tar and wet leather on the nose, the 2019 Merlot exudes flavors of star anise, currant, dried cranberry, smoked cedar & blueberry pie all wrapped in firm approachable tannins.

Indicative of the cooler temperatures from the 2020 vintage, this wine is medium bodied with moderate tannins & nuanced notes of tart cherry, boysenberry, gravel, anise, pine needles & dry earthy tones.

Complex and captivating, the 2021 Merlot opens with aromas of plum, cigar box, tar, cobblestone, and cola, complimented by characteristics of chocolate-covered cherries, cacao, cassis, and charcoal.

Our right bank Bordeaux blend makes it's welcomed return after five vintages. This Mythology is a very limited production wine flanked with scents of black cherry, wet leather, cigar box, and forest floor followed by blackberry, red current, violet, cola, and cedar on a youthful but expansive palate.

Nebbiolo finally returned to Greenhill with the 2021 vintage! As a naturally tannic varietal, this Nebbiolo was made with the intention of keeping the fruit as forward and bright as possible. To meet this goal the wine as aged for only 10 months in new and used French oak, resulting in extremely youthful and engaging expression of the varietal. A welcoming nose of fresh strawberries, cherry pipe tobacco, red licorice and rose petal is followed by maraschino cherry, leather, and strong tannins on the palate. Should age beautifully over the next 5+ years. 

This rustic Petit Verdot displays aromas of violet, lavender, anise, & roasted coffee bean. Tart plum, bramble fruit and Mexican chocolate are highlighted on the palate’s sturdy tannic structure balanced by a touch of acidity on the finish.  

A cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut, Pinotage was created in 1925 by at the University of Stellenbosch, in South Africa. Sourced from Horton Vineyards, we aged our first vintage of the varietal for 10 months in New & used French oak. Light bodied, soft, and approachable, the wine opens with notes of plum, sweet tobacco, tart blueberry, dried fig & straw. The palate expressed red fruits and a touch of spice that flows into subtle tannins and balanced acidity on the finish.   

Sourced from Honah Lee Vineyards near Charlottesville, this vintage of Tannat has intoxicating whiffs of dark chocolate cherry, dried medjool date, tamarind, cinnamon and burnt caramel. The structured palate has well developed tannins integrated with dried leather, charcoal, red raspberry, and dried strawberry to create a beautifully balanced wine.
