A first for Greenhill Vineyards, the 2022 Sparkling Rosé is a wonderful new addition to the sparkling wine portfolio, with crisp, refreshing notes of Honeycrisp apple, fresh grapefruit, raspberry, and watermelon. 

Opening with aromas of lime zest, lemon verbena, and orange blossom, this stainless steel fermented Chardonnay finishes with crisp notes of ripe pear, wet stone, and fresh green apple on the palate.

Our gold medal 2023 Chardonnay Reserve features a rich bouquet of caramel apple crisp, toasted brioche, and vanilla with a smooth, round finish complete with flavors of ripe pineapple and buttered popcorn.

The 2023 Chenin Blanc was mostly fermented and aged in concrete eggs, allowing for the fleshy fruit flavors to become very prominent. This completely dry expression starts with a nose of dried apples, ripe peaches and pineapple, which lead to a rich mouthfeel and a pleasant, lengthy finish.

Aromas of honeysuckle, melon, pineapple, and delicate pencil shavings on the nose, lead to flavors of dried apricot on the palate with balanced acidity and an almost chewy texture mid-palate.

Entirely dry and pale straw in color, this refreshing and beautiful expression of Virginia Riesling opens with notes of fresh lemon zest, musk melon and white flower. The palate exhibits flavors of tangerine, lemon cream pie and apricot, finishing with a beautiful balanced acidity.

From our Middleburg AVA and bursting with bright acidity, the 2023 Seyval Blanc reflects crisp aromas of limoncello, kiwi, and jasmine with a refreshing palate of honeydew, key lime, and lemon curd.

Fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral French oak barrels for an enhanced mouthfeel, the 2022 Viognier opens with notes of honeydew, starfruit, and eucalyptus, followed by ripe pear, white peach, and dried pineapple on the palate.

A versatile wine, the 2023 Intuition opens with aromas of fresh pineapple, citrus blossom, and marzipan with mandarin orange, lemon meringue, key lime on the palate for a clean finish.

This medium bodied wine presents aromas of pomegranates, nutmeg, and cranberry walnut tart. Aged for 18 months in French oak, the palate is lively with nuanced notes of boysenberry, fresh cut pine, and black pepper, finishing with moderate tannins.

Aromas of cherry wood, plum, & a hint of vanilla encompass this medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Smooth flavors of blackberry and smoke are finished with rustic, playful tannins

Blended from the best barrels of Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Eternity opens with an alluring bouquet of anise, violet, Amarena cherry, and a subtle hint of cigar box. On the palate, fresh raspberries, blackberries, and vibrant red fruits intertwine harmoniously, supported by well-balanced tannins that provide structure. The finish is long, complex, and satisfying.

2022 was an excellent vintage for Greenhill, highlighting our unique terroir. The 2022 Merlot has a beautiful nose highlighting medjool dates, fresh herbs, and irresistible black tea. The palate of over ripened bramble fruit, blueberry pie and dark chocolate make this an easy drinking, stand-alone wine, a unique expression of what we should expect from Merlot.

Aged for 18 months in French oak, the 2022 Mythology was derived from an exceptional vintage. Opens with enticing notes of cherry tobacco, wet leather, baking spices, and boysenberry syrup. Smooth, moderate tannins on the palate create a velvety texture, complementing ripe plum and red currant with subtle hints of violet, almond, and earthy mushrooms.

This vibrant Nebbiolo showcases an aromatic bouquet of lavender, cinnamon, tar and concentrated strawberry. lively berry flavors, cassis, structured tannins, and well-balanced acidity showcase the strength of this wine. 

A balanced and approachable expression of Chambourcin with baking spice, ripe strawberry and new leather on the nose finishing with flavors of cherry cola and cranberry compote leading to a soft subtle mouth feel, well-integrated tannins and acidity. 

This rich and lush expression of Petit Verdot opens with vibrant aromas of blackberry, crushed prune, sage, and lilac. On the palate, textured tannins envelop the jammy black cherry and plum flavors, creating a beautifully balanced, full-bodied experience and a lasting, velvety finish.

Begins with subtle hints of clove and kola nut, alongside Bing cherries and delicate plum. The palate is light in texture and weight, revealing flavors of overripe raspberry, rhubarb, and cardamom, with a touch of tannins lingering on the finish.
